The Extend Program is an extension of the MS Laptop Care Program and provides the ability for;
- assistance for configuration of Home networks
- installation and configuration for educational software and hardware

ICT Services (ICTS) provides an 'end-to-end' laptop program which includes the purchasing of the required laptop for the program, warranty, insurance package, laptop configuration for Kristin use and an on-site ICTS Support Centre which handles all laptop support.

Laptop Program Benefits
There are a number of key laptop program benefits which are not available outside the laptop program and which are requirements for our laptop use. These include;
- Pre-selection of the laptop model which meets Kristin's educational and technical requirements (including specific networking and power requirements)
- Availability of an extremely competitively priced laptop.
- Inclusion of hardware support program and warranty coverage for the laptop.
- On-site Kristin ICT Support Centre as a first point of contact for all student laptop servicing.
- Laptop insurance package. This is an important aspect to the program for accidental damage and travel which the warranties do not cover. This insurance packages are fix-priced with low excesses without premium increases. The 2004 insurance program includes a 24hr turn-around on processing claims.
- Access at Kristin to the Laptop Status website to allows students to review the repair status of student laptops. This website will be further developed to allow students to view the history of their laptop repairs.
- Ensures students have the tools and access they need for the Middle School curriculum.
